Walking like the Ancients

Well, the roids did little more than make me want to eat everything in sight.

I had another pneumatic retinapexy today.  Unfortunately, it was the most painful thing I have ever had to endure.  I now know why elderly people walk so slowly: it would actually pain me to move with a longer stride than the length of a hospital floor tile.

I'm going home again to let my mom take care of me.  This time, I have to lay on my side as much as I can for at least two weeks.  I think I will be living on my parents' couch, so I can at least watch TV while stuck on my side.
